KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Experience Managing Business Across Multiple Countries

Over the past decade, Oleksandr has managed business operations in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. He has been responsible for the region’s financial performance, building international teams, developing partner-led go-to-market strategies and working with strategic enterprise customers. His role also included coordinating cooperation between local offices and vendors’ global headquarters.

One of Oleksandr’s key professional achievements was developing Check Point’s regional business. When he joined the company, the team consisted of two people. It later grew to 13 specialists working across several markets. For ten consecutive years, the regional business achieved annual growth of 15–25%.

This experience shaped his approach to management: successful regional growth for an international vendor requires a strong local team and partners who understand customer needs.

NEW STRATEGY

iiTD’s Development Priorities in Kazakhstan

Initially, Alexander plans to focus on meeting partners and customers and understanding the market’s needs and the team’s capabilities. He has identified three priorities for the coming year.

  1. Developing the partner ecosystem. Strengthening cooperation with existing partners and engaging new companies in joint projects.
  2. Unlocking the potential of the portfolio. Helping partners and customers select complementary technologies that address interconnected cybersecurity and IT infrastructure needs.
  3. Strengthening the team and expertise. Developing technical support, training partners, and sharing experience throughout project implementation.

“I believe in a model where a distributor is more than a link in the supply chain: it is a partner that helps vendors, integrators and customers reduce risks and adopt new technologies with confidence. Kazakhstan is one of the region’s most dynamic markets, and I see significant potential for growth together.”

MARKET TRENDS

Technology Backed by Expertise

Among the trends shaping Kazakhstan’s market, Alexander highlights the growth of digital services, the shift to cloud and hybrid environments, increasing requirements for protecting information infrastructure, and the growing role of threat detection and response solutions. Artificial intelligence is also changing the way specialists work: it is used both to carry out attacks and to defend against them.

At the same time, he believes that a shortage of qualified specialists remains a challenge for companies. Therefore, when choosing a technology partner, access to consulting, technical support and training matters alongside product capabilities.

This is how Alexander sees iiTD’s role as a De-risking Partner: helping partners and customers assess risks, make informed decisions about solutions and receive support during implementation.

PRINCIPLES OF COOPERATION

Trust and Shared Responsibility for Results

In managing his team, Alexander relies on openness, trust and a clear shared goal. He believes it is important to give specialists room to take initiative and support their professional development.

In working with partners, his priorities are transparent rules, predictability and long-term relationships. This means working together at every stage of a project, from the first meeting with the customer through to completion.

We are pleased to welcome Alexander to the iiTD team and wish him success in developing the company’s business in Kazakhstan!

“I would like to thank our partners and customers for the trust they have already placed in iiTD. We will continue to strive to be a reliable partner that helps you reduce risks and achieve your business goals. I look forward to meeting you in person and am open to dialogue.”
