How to Use BYOM in Version 4.17

To get started, follow a few simple steps:

• Upgrade to version 4.17
• Ensure you have Owner or Admin permissions
• Enable Cribl Copilot
• Navigate to Settings → Global → AI Settings and click Use Custom AI Provider
• Select the provider type

Enter the required information:

• Provider ID
• Description (optional)
• Deployment URL
• API key

Test the connection before saving

After saving, a provider card will appear at the top of the page. Note that in version 4.17, each workspace can have only one AI provider. Future releases will support multiple providers, feature-level selection, and broader model management capabilities.
