On February 19-20, iIT Distribution participated in the Kyiv Cyber Resilience Forum—one of the strongest professional platforms for networking and exchanging experiences in the field of cybersecurity in Ukraine.

This year, we partnered with the forum for the second time along with our technology partners—CrowdStrike and Cloudflare. Commvault was also presented within the event.

For us, this is not just participating in an event, but an opportunity to be part of a professional conversation about real market challenges.

AI IN FOCUS

Panel discussion: AI in cybersecurity without illusions

As part of the forum, iIT Distribution initiated a panel discussion «Around AI in Cybersecurity: From Shadow AI to the Limits of Automation».

The topic of the discussion resonates with the approach of our technology partners — CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, and Commvault, who are also working on integrating AI into solutions for protecting infrastructure, networks, and data.

Together with CISOs and heads of information security departments from the banking sector, manufacturing, logistics, and government digital services, we discussed how AI is already impacting business and security systems. The panel was moderated by Serhiy Kulyk, head of the Ukrainian office of iIT Distribution.

During the discussion, several practical issues were raised:

  • the intensification of deepfake, AI-phishing, and automated social engineering;
  • control over the use of public LLMs by employees and the risks of data leakage;
  • changing access and trust models;
  • creating new services using artificial intelligence and products entirely built on AI;
  • the real cost of teams, expertise, and long-term investments in such solutions;
  • the limits of automation in SOC and the role of humans in making critical decisions;
  • the linguistic specificity of AI solutions and the challenges of working with the Ukrainian language.

The discussion was candid and pragmatic: AI has already become part of operational reality, but its implementation requires mature processes, clear policies, and conscious responsibility.

Two days of live dialogue

During these days, the iIT Distribution team worked in the exhibition area of the forum

Our booth became another place for conversations about cybersecurity, technology development, and the exchange of insights. We had the opportunity to communicate with representatives from various industries, hear their experiences, challenges, and expectations, as well as share our vision for market development.

These live contacts and the opportunity to better understand the demands of the business and public sectors were especially valuable to us.

Acknowledgment

Strengthening cyber resilience together

We thank the organizers of the Kyiv Cyber Resilience Forum for a quality, professional, and well-structured platform.

We thank our partners — CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, and Commvault — for their joint participation and support.

The opportunity to be represented, heard, and at the same time hear others is precisely what makes such events truly important for the development of the cybersecurity market.
